Since 2003, Procco Financial Services (Private) Limited has engaged in establishing its own niche in Pakistan in the development of payment and loyalty solutions based on smart card or magnetic stripe technology. With its strategic innovation approach, it pioneered several technological breakthroughs in Pakistan. In partnership with United Bank Limited (UBL), Procco Financial Services (Private) Limited launched an EMV-compliant chip-based VISA Credit Card, which was the first in Pakistan and in the entire South Asian Region.
Procco Financial Services (Private) Limited also owns and operates SmartLink, Pakistan’s first smart card EMV-enabled POS terminal network that is actively working in various cities nationwide. To date, Procco Financial Services (Private) Limited has issued over 1.5 million cards in Pakistan, which consist of customized POS-based applications provided to clients from various industries representing banks, financial, and retail, and corporate institutions.
Specifically, these applications include
a combination of product registry and loyalty program, which enables the integration of POS and the cash register;
online order-booking system;
e-ticketing system for transport authorities and mass transits;
branchless banking application;
dual prepaid and loyalty;
